There was this mod made by Pete T some time ago in IPS Its a simple widget you can place and see the list of members which have visited the site in the past X days. You determine how long is the period. Nice ego boost for admins and perhaps for other members to see that there are many users lurking around. While currently online users is always a smaller list. 😕

I second this. This is a needed thing for moderators to sometimes make small adjustments to make communities more organized.

This comes with a problem and a solution. sort of. Plugin truncates this whole bunch of text in red and makes a SHOW MORE text which you can click to reveal it in full. It declutters the new content feed. The plugin for that exists and @Daniel perhaps would like to review it and make it compatible with newer versions? Truncate Stream Blurb Hide.xml

Sending welcome PM in my mind is not the best thing since it just takes up space in the database and imagine if you get a lot of members.. I use on 4.4 the method of sending a welcome email therefore you don't clutter the database 🙂 I hope your mod does something to that effect 🙂

yeah I wonder where did he disappear to. his work was always solid. would be sad to loose a talented developer like him.

I think devfuse has this one released on 4.x it works nice.
